The Smith Family Partnership

VentureCrowd’s mission is to find and fund the future, together. That means finding extraordinary people and supporting them to do extraordinary things.

Currently in Australia, 1.2 million children and young people live in poverty*. Any one of these kids has the potential to change the planet, if only they had the opportunity.

VentureCrowd and The Smith Family are firm believers that providing educational support is key to breaking the cycle of poverty, so that young Australians can build better futures for themselves and reach their potential. That’s why VentureCrowd has partnered with The Smith Family to support their Learning for Life program and partner program, Kidpreneur.

A Message from the CEO

As the first son of migrant parents, I know what it is like to struggle financially. I also know, without a doubt, that education changed my life.

VentureCrowd exists to support Australian entrepreneurialism and the first step on that journey to success is quality education for every single child, regardless of their background.

Australia is a country of innovation and is brimming with talent that comes from very diverse backgrounds.

The Kidpreneur program recognises that potential starts with imagination and needs to be nurtured early. If we can inspire the entrepreneurial creativity of children to truly imagine what is possible, then Australia as a whole will be reaping the rewards for years to come.

The alignment between VentureCrowd and The Smith Family is a perfect fit and I am excited for this partnership to be the bedrock of VentureCrowd’s commitment to supporting the communities in which we operate.
